Panni is a British Chinese Artist who works with the colour of emotion, spirit painting the energy of the interactions of humans and the natural world. Large scale colourful canvasses with peaceful energy suitable for large offices and buildings will be on sale as both originals and prints see website www.simunye.co.uk/panni_poh_yoke_loh Trained with a Masters in Art as Environment from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2003 following a Diploma in Permaculture Design and BSc in Textile Design in 2001 & 1998 she has sold work to public and private collectors and exhibited in widely in the U.K as well as internationally in Thailand and Australia. Her work is in collections such as the U.K. Irish Embassy, the national Black Environment Network and Sheffield Libraries. She has just been awarded winner of the national ‘Resurgence Magazine Photography Award’ as well as runner up in the essay competition published in the May/June 2006 issue. In March 2006 she completed the artists residency for the Fukuoka Asian Art Triennial. In 2004 the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister gave a national award for her work organising the annual Sheffield ‘Abbeyfield Park Multicultural Festival’ that she initiated in 1999 and organised until 2004. Her vast experience of Multicultural Arts Co-ordinator with Teaching and Social Work qualifications & training in working in the urban multicultural arts environment informs and enriches her work. 10% of all sales will be donated to ‘Motherbridge of Love’ to help educate children in rural China and support Chinese children adopted into the west.
