Arrival Beijing, China. Airport pick up to hotel. Check in.

In the morning, visit the Forbidden City which was the
residence of the Emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Then visit Tiananmen Square ---the largest square in the world.
Lastly, you will visit the Temple of Heaven where emperors
prayed to their gods for good harvest and longevity.

Today’s highlight is the Great Wall. Construction of the wall
started in the 7th century B.C. it is the only man-made structure
which can be seen from the moon. Next, visit Ming Tombs,
tomb of the 13th Ming Dynasty emperor and also known as “Underground Palace” |

In the morning we will visit the Summer Palace. It is the largest
and the best preserved imperial Chinese Garden for 800 years.
It has been used by the court as a retreat from the capital’s heat.

|
The capital of Henan Provice, Zhenzhou is a famous ancient city.
Today’s highlight is Hennan Museum and Guandu Battle Ground.
Later embark on a boat cruise along the Yellow River, the 2nd
longest river in China.

After breakfast, continue to Kaifeng . Kaifeng is an illustrious city
with a unique 3,000 year history. This city has been called the “ancient Capital of Seven Dynasties” and has a fascinating history
of the Jewish community and it’s Quarter. Here you will visit the
Xiangguo Monastery, Reverend Bao’s ancestral temple, Dragon
Pavilion, Iron Pagoda and Song city. |

Kaifeng / Shaolin Temple / Luoyang - by bus |

|
This morning visit the Pagoda Forest consisting of 240 tomb pagodas
of bricks or stones from the Tang, Song, Jin, Yuan, Ming and
Qing Dynasties. Next, proceed to the Shaolin Temple to be treated
to a world famous Shaolin Martial Arts performance. Then move on
to Luoyang, visit Baimashi (Temple of White Horse), the oldest
temple in China with history of over 1.900 years |

Louyang –a city where nine dynasties had their capital. The Longmen
grottos is one of the three big art treasure houses in China. The Buddhist
statues carved out of ancient stone are housed in caves and niches. They
are very expressive and lifelike. After lunch, proceed to Xian, the oldest
capital of the ancient China.

After breakfast, visit the world famous Terra Cotta Warrior. This
archaeological site dated back to 3rd century BC is the burial site
of Emperor Qin Shi Huang and it does sometimes called the
“the Eight wonder of the world”. Next stop, Hua Qing Hot Spring,
located at the northern foothills of Mount Li.

Start the day by touring the Great Wild Goose Pagoda, also known
as Ci En monastery pagoda. Next, we will visit the Banpo Neolithic
Village (banpo yizhi), the most complete example of an agricultural
Neolithic settlement in the world. This excavated site of a village dates
back to 4500BC and was discovered in 1953. There are more female
tombs and graves than male, and the women’s graves contain more
objects and valuables than their male counterparts indicating
a Matriarchal clan community.

Visit Jade Buddha Temple, thereafter, we will go to Pudong, the area
that has changed most dramatically in the city in recent years in the
eastern bank of the Huangppu River. Oriental Pearl TV Tower---the
Oriental Pearl Radio and Television Tower stands in Pudong Park in
the new and developing Lujiazui district. |

Hangzhou, the city Marco Polo called “the world’s most beautiful and
splendid city” and the famous West Lake, a large fresh water lake
surrounding by lofty hills and tranquil gardens. Continue your visit
to the Lingyin Temple and the Tomb of General Yue Fei, an outstanding
patriotic hero of the Song Dynasty. |

Hangzhou / Shaoxing / Hangzhou - by bus |

After breakfast depart to the centre of the waterway system on the
northern Zhejiang plain—Shaoxing. Upon arrival visit “Lan Pavilion”
which is the famous attraction of Southern China with a group of
buildings built during Qing Dynasty. Then visit Keyan. |

Today, depart for Wuxi, a name that means “tinless” where the local
tin mine was exhausted during the Han Dynasty. Tour the Xihui Park

by Lake Taihu, which is renowned for its magnificent waters, hills

Start the day with a tour of Tiger Hill and Han Shan Monastery.
Thereafter, visit Dongshanqi Garden’s Carved Mansion. It is a richly

Peach Orchard”. “24 Tales of Filial Piety”, stories from “The Western
Chamber” etc. |

Zhouzhuang, where ancient house, water alleys and scenes make
for a breathtaking sight. Walk through fusty alleys punctuated with
the occasional cracks of sunlight. Zhouzhuang the old—world charm
is all here. The scenery of there is disturbed duly by the silvers of
sewer that gather at the edge of the water alleys. After which we
will proceed to Shanghai. |

Begin your vacation with a flight to Kunming, upon arrival, visit

Depart by flight to Dali. Upon arrival, embark on an Erhai cruise.
Today, savour the famous tea of Dali while being entertained by
the Bai tribe performances. Next, visit the Three Pagodas in
Chongsheng Temple and Butterfly Spring. We then proceed to
visit 3 villages of the Bai tribe, namely Zhou City, Xizhou town
and Ancient city |

Lijiang, inhabited by Naxi people, is located in the northwest of
Yunnan province. It is characterised by magnificent mountains, clear
waters and beautiful mountains. Upon arrival, tour the Jade Spring Park.
Proceed to Old Market Square, criss-crossed by canals and a maze of
narrow streets. |

Today, visit snow capped Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Yufeng

Lijiang / Lugu Lake - by bus |

|
Today, depart for Lugu Lake, with an average depth of 40m, it is set
in a dense forest. Environment around the lake is well preserved,
where the air is fresh, water pollution free and the scenery is incredibly
delightful. The shore of the lake is home to the Mosuo people, a branch
of the ethnic Naxi group who retain the vestiges of a matriarchal society.
Tonight, you will stay in a traditional Mosou accommodation and be
welcomed by the Mosou people where they will sing and dance for you. |

This morning, embark on the cruise on the Lugu Lake. You may want
to walk along the shores of the lake admiring the surrounding scenery
and the costumes of the Mosuo. You will also get a chance to visit a
Mosuo Home. Up to the present day, the Mosuo men and women are
not united by wedlock, each living at the mother’s place, yet keeping
a casual cohabitation relationship. Females are predominant and are
leaders of the families. Thereafter depart for Ninglang |

After breakfast, depart for Lijiang to visit Mufu and free in the afternoon. |

outstanding sand formations including relief (sculptures) etc |
